Santacon 2009
Yes, it's that time of the year. London Santacon 2009 took place yesterday and once again it was drunken, messy and hilarious.
I had a great time along with Santa Dibbs, Santa Sam and Santa Katy (seen here with a low-flying sprout, care of Santa Craig.
This year we started at the Prince Charles Cinema, where there was an 11am showing of Fred Claus. Ticket prices were £4.75 for ordinary punters and £2.75 for santas. It was a sell-out and spirits were high throughout.
After the film, most of us headed to Holborn, although a miscommunication also had a bunch of santas heading to Camden where a rendezvous had been planned with another group of crimson-suited, white-bearded merry-makers. Here's Santa Dibbs on the escalators to the tube.
I will update with lots more photos and commentary, but Google Chrome just crashed and I lost everything I've spent an hour typing up... in the meantime, here are some pics.
